Media ethics

 Good Morning to everyone present here today. My name is shubhangi and i am a student of MAJMC from department of media studies . I stand in front of you to talk about a very important thing today and that is Media Ethics. 


Being a student of Mass Communication and Journalism, it is important to understand that a media student must have certain qualities as a person and must continously work towards making it better and stronger. A media student must inherit certain media ethics that will make a better and happier person in life and their career as well. Media ethics refers to the rules and principles that help or guide how an individual should behave, talk, chat, act in certain situations. Media ethics involves doing things like 

  • sharing the right news to the people
  • dont mislead the audience
  • work with proof
  • dont spread hate or violence
  • respect people's privacy
Since Ethics refers to knowing the difference between right and wrong and choosing the right thing to do, in the same way media ethics teaches an individual to be a strong, powerful , honest and to present news or information in the right manner and form.

The Air India flight AI 171 of the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner going from Ahmedabad to London's Gatwick crashed immediately after take-off from sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International airport. Pahalgam Terror Attack

The pahalgam Terror Attack happened on 22nd April 2025 where a total of 26 people (men) were killed brutally. This attack is known to be one of the most deadly attacks that ever took place. It all happened in the baisaran valley near pahalgam which is basically in the Indian adminsitered region of Jammu and kashmir. Pahalgam was known for its scenic beauty and in other words also called as the Switzerland of India . Despite being of such beauty the place is now known as a traumatic spot as many were killed and encountered in that place by the terrorists.    It all began when the tourists had come to visit pahalgam and its scenic beauty and were enjoying their time.
