Pahalgam Terror Attack

The pahalgam Terror Attack happened on 22nd April 2025 where a total of 26 people (men) were killed brutally. This attack is known to be one of the most deadly attacks that ever took place. It all happened in the baisaran valley near pahalgam which is basically in the Indian adminsitered region of Jammu and kashmir. Pahalgam was known for its scenic beauty and in other words also called as the Switzerland of India . Despite being of such beauty the place is now known as a traumatic spot as many were killed and encountered in that place by the terrorists. 

 

It all began when the tourists had come to visit pahalgam and its scenic beauty and were enjoying their time. Many tourist had come to visit the place, many came there to spend their time as a honeymoon destination etc. After few minutes few gunshots were fired in the air due to which people started panicking and running after their lives. After the incident happened people were asked regarding the number of terrorist in that spot, locals claimed around 5 terrorists in that spot. The terrorists were equipped with guns such as M4 carbines and AK-47 gun. They used these guns to scare people, make them afraid and bring chaos to their lives. 

After this all the people were assembled in front of the terrorist and asked to reveal whether they were hindu or muslim and were told to recite the kalma which is a muslim declaration of faith and the people who were unable to recite the kalma and claimed being a hindu were shot point blank right in front of their wives,children or family members. Only the men were targetted in this terror attack causing widespread anger in the eyes of people. Wives left screaming and shouting, children left crying for their dead father. The scene was too painful to process for the ones who witnessed the event taking place right in front of their eyes. 

One women's husband was asked whether he was hindu or not and seconds later shot dead. The wife confronted by saying "kill me as well" but the response to that given by the terrorist was go tell this to modi. 

A total of 26 men died in this shocking incident which made the Indians blood boil with rage and resentment. This pahalgam incident led to the Operation Sindoor Mission which was in response to the people killed in this attack by the terrorists. It was a necessary operation and a step taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to fight back terrorism.
