Is AI a threat to Human Journalist

In the early times people had not discovered AI and thus didn’t know much about it in early 2000. It was only after few yrs, people realised that AI is a new tool that has come in the market and has the ability to do job just like humans.  In the early times it was not thought that AI will take the job of journalist as it was purely based on labour work and needed humans for the working and functioning of newsroom where broadcasting takes place. But in 2025 a lot has changed with time and due to this people are now relying more on AI tools which helps the platform be a better version of itself.

AI has certainly progressed a lot because it allows people to find answers in seconds as people have become restless. AI had disoriented the youth in some way and this can cause a major problem in future. Since the youth rely completely on getting things in seconds thus it can bring a lot of problems in future for them.

Although even now AI doesn’t have the strength to take the job of a journalist because taking the job means being able to do every single thing that a journalist does, which basically is not practical enough. Thinking like a human, feeling emotions, having deeper level of understanding is extremely important which an AI clearly lacks. They lack because they are not completely humans but machines. They are robots performing the functions that has been rebooted in their system. An AI can’t replace the position of a human being but in the time being it has the ability to do things and get things done on time.

Prima facie it looked like AI would never be able to overtake the job of a human journalist but it has already done that job in 2025. Many videos surfacing on Instagram shows videos of AI journalist and setup with people getting interviewed. The video clearly conveys that it is an AI video of a journalist interviewing others.

This shows that in future jobs can be easily taken away by AI specially for a journalist. Being a journalist is tough but reports show that with the rising number of AI tools available all over the internet it becomes easy to give the job to AI rather than a human and get work done in minutes of time. Thus it’s true that AI is somewhat threat to a human journalist.
